Anderson, Eli T., MD,Waynetown, Physician & Surgeon, native of Boone County, Indiana settled in this county in 1873.
Note: What an elusive character. In 1874, according to the People's Guide, he was living in the Waynetown area and practicing medicine. Obviously, he is still in Montgomery in 1878 (Atlas above). This seems to be he and his family in the 1880 census -- 1880 Malden, Dunklin Co MO

Also there is a Dr. Elisha Turner Anderson born 3 March 1837 and passed away 7 Jan 1916 buried in the Snapp Cemetery, Forsyth in Taney County, Missouri, but I do not think he is one and the same. Hopefully, some day we'll find this fella' :) kbz
